"Edith “Angie” Leebrick passed away the morning of July 4th, 2010 on the 63rd anniversary of her marriage to her late husband Reams Leebrick.
Mrs. Leebrick was born on July 19th, 1928 the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sekin. Mrs. Leebrick was raised by the late Mr. and Mrs. Clay Hatcher of Bedford.
She is survived by her son John Leebrick and her son Tom Leebrick and his wife B.J. ; sister Helen Sekin of Lynchburg, brother Darrell \”Joe\” Sekin and his wife Rita of Irving, Texas; grandaughter Rhiannon Leebrick Johnson and her husband Caleb of Floyd, Virginia; great-grandaughter Maebel; her sister-in-laws Mrs. Bland Leebrick of North Carolina and and Miss Eunice Leebrick of Lynchburg. She is also survived by foster sisters Virginia Stanley and Catherine Warlick of Bedford and their families; also many nieces and nephews in both North Carolina and Texas and beloved caregiver Kathy Winebarger.

"COMAN-LEEBRICK. The home of Mr. J. C. Calkins, on Franklin Hill, was also the scene of a pretty wedding at 1:30 today. The contracting p;arties were Miss Katie E. Leebrick, the pretty young daughter of Mr. J. E. Leebrick, and Mr. John E. Coman, a popular young telegrapher from Bristol. Rev. W. H. Atwell, pastor of Centenary Methodist Episcopal church, officiated. The bride was attired in a handsome travelling costume of gray cloth. The wedding was a quiet affair, only the relatives and a few intimate friends attending. "Tony E. Leebrick, Sr. ROSELAND- Tony E. Leebrick Sr., 73, of HCR61, Box 41-B, went home to be with the Lord Friday Jan. 6, 1995. He was the loving husband of Suzanne H. Leebrick.
Born March 16, 1921 in Lowesville, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Lottie Angus Leebrick. He was a member of Piney River Baptist Church. Mr. Leebrick was a retired member er of the Operating Engineers, Washington, D.C., Local 77, a member of Piney River Moose Lode No. 2032, and an avid horseman, was a founding member of the Blue Ridge Harness and Saddle Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Tony E. Leebrick, Jr. of Amherst; a stepson and his wife, Michael J. and Suzanne M. Harrington of Annandale; three brothers, Joseph K. and Earl P. Leebrick, both of Amherst, and Glenn M Leebrick of Lowesville; two sisters, Marian L Cash of Arrington and Evelyn L. Spalding of Lowesville; two grandchildren, Stacy L Pride and Anthony Leebrick and one great-granddaughter, Kendall LeeAnn, all of Olney, Md; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, William A. Leebrick, and a sister, Louise L. Harris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Hopkins and the Rev. Carroll Welch, with interment in Amherst Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today and other times at the residence."--Date and source unknown
