"Mrs. Susan Cassel Dies -- Mrs. Susan Cassel, widow of Elias Cassel, died at her home in West Hanover on Tuesday night of a complication of diseases. The funeral services will be held on Monday morning in Wenrich's Church and will be conducted by the Rev. O.R. Bittner. Burial will be made in the family plot in Shoop's Cemetery. The deceased is survived by three sons and five daughters. "RITES SUNDAY OF J. A. LANDIS, 74 -- Funeral services for Jacob A. Landis, 74, of Hummelstown R. D. 2, who died of complications Wednesday night at 9 o'clock at his home, will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Bordlemay funeral home in this place, with further services in the United Brethren Church at Union Deposit and burial in the Union Deposit Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing tomorrow night from 7 to 9 o'clock, at the funeral home.
Mr. Landis who was a farmer, was a son of the late Solomon and Annie Snavely Landis. He resided at Hummelstown R.D. 2 most of his life. He was a very active member of the United Christian Church at Sand Beach.
In addition to his widow, Laura Cassel Laudermilch, one daughter and one son survive, Mrs. James Miller and Cassel Landis of Hummelstown R.D. 2; also three brothers and one sister, Addison and Irvin Landis and Miss Agnes Landis of Union Deposit, and Edward of Hummelstown. "MICHAEL M. CASSEL -- Michael M. Cassel, aged 59, a traveling salesman, died yesterday morning at his home, 1410 State street. Mr. Cassel was a resident of this city for the last fifteen years and a member of the Junior Mechanics. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Cassel; four brother, Calvin, of Hanoverdale; George R., Edward and John Cassel of this city, and three sisters, Mrs. Harvey Hershey, of Hockersville; Mrs. J.M. Brightbill, of Hummelstown, and Mrs. Harvey Kramer, of Paxtang.
Funeral services will be held at the hoime Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Lewis C. Manges, pastor of the Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Harrisburg Cemetery."--21 Mar 1921, Harrisburg (PA) Telegraph

"HENRY ADAMS, LODI PIONER, IS DEAD -- Henry Adams, a well known pioneer of this county, died Saturday afternoon in Stockton, after an operation for intestinal troubles. The deceased was removed to his home on Palm avenue in this city, where he has lived for a number of years. He was the father of C.F., W.A., J.H., W.C., Robert T., Eliza and Mary E. Adams. He was a native of Ireland, aged 62 years and 8 months. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church, under the auspices of the Lodi lodge of Odd Fellows, of which the deceased was a member. "GEORGE V. KELSEY, JR., 61, of Bayville, Berkeley, died Wednesday at Lacey Genesis Elder Care Center, Forked River, Lacey. He founded Carpet Land, Beachwood, and operated it from 1968 to 1981 and also operated Carpet Land, Ship Bottom, from 1978 to the present. He served in the Marine Corps. He was an avid scuba diver, marathoner and triathlete. Born in Verona, he lived in Toms River for 12 years before moving to Bayville 21 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Carland Kelsey; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Dean of Bayville; and a sister, Mary Alice Quimby of Vista, Calif.,
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Growney Funeral Home 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
