"MRS. TESSIE ROBINSON LEEBRICK, 65, Chesapeake, Va., died Friday in Orlando. A native of Scottsville, Va., she came to Orlando six months ago. She was a retired accounting clerk at the Naval Supply Depot in Norfolk, Va., and a Presbyterian.

"Harriet Pullen Marries James Miller in New York--News of wide interest to her many friends in the Southland comes from New York City telling of the marriage on Jan. 22 of Harriet Leebrick Pullen to James Lee Miller of Connecticutt, formerly of Ashland, Ohio. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Leebrick of 4360 Lime Ave.
The ceremony took place at 4 p.m. in the Marle Collegiate Church on Fifth Ave, of which Dr. Norman Vincent Peale is pastor, with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Buckley of New York City attending the couple.
The bride wore an afternoon dress of turquoise blue brocade with a matching hat and corsage of white orchids. Following the vow exchange a wedding dinner took place in the Cotillion Room of the Hotel Pierre. On their return from a brief honeymoon, the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller will make their home in Riverside, Conn., a suburb of Greenwich.

"Kin of L.B. Couple Gets Top Sales Job--James L. Miller, son-in-law of a Long Beach couple, has been named vice president of Mohawk Sales by the board of directors of Mohasco Industries, Inc., in New York City. In his new capacity, he will direct sales of Mohawk Carpet Mills, largest manufacturer of rugs and carpets.
His wife is the former Harriet Leebrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Leebrick, Sr., 4360 Lime Ave., Long Beach. The Millers and their three daughters live at Riverside, Conn., but his business headquarters will be in New York City. He joined the carpet company in 1953.

"Popular Couple Are Joined In Marriage--Leebrick-Matney Nuptials At Flagstaff, Arizona, Come As Surprise to Many --A romance begun in the local high school culminated in the marriage at Flagstaff on Sunday of Miss Mayme Edna Leebrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Leebrick of Baldwin Park, and Lynn Matney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Matney of West Covina Boulevard. They were accompanied to the Arizona city by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brashear of Baldwin Park.
The bride, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leebrick, graduated from the Covina high school in June of 1933. She has been honored with a number of social affairs since the announcement of her engagement a short time ago.
Mr. Matney since finishing high school here has been associated with his father in the care of his grove.
For her marriage Miss Leebrick wore a traveling suit of blue with gray accessories. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Matney left for the Grand Canyon and upon their return will be at home at the ranch home on the Matney grove."--9 Mar 1934, Covina (CA) Argus.
