"Henry J. Liebrich--Henry J. Liebrich, 77, of 8141 Throop St., who retired four years ago as a superintendent at Standard-Toch Chemicals, Inc., 2600 Federal St. after 55 years with the company, died yesterday in his home. He leaves his widow, Mary C.; two sons, Francis J. and the Rev. Edward W., pastor of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church, Round Lake, and two grandchildren. Reverend Father Edward W Liebrich, 83, passed away 02 Jan 1990 in Broward Florida. Edward, and his twin brother "F.J.", were born 10 Apr 1906 to Henry Joseph (Jacob) Liebrich and Mary Cecelia Crowe. Edward was former pastor of St Williams Church in Chicago; loving twin brother of Francis Joseph (Marjorie, nee O'Brien) Liebrich of Richmond VA; fond uncle of Margaret K O'Conner and Kathryn L Kenniff. Reverend Liebrich will lie in state and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St William Church then the Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery. Funeral arrangements made by The Belmont Funeral Home.

According to an email from saintwilliamparish1916@gmail.com, the fellowship hall at Saint William Parish is named for Father Edward W Liebrich. He become their sixth pastor in December of 1962.

"2 AREA PRIESTS MARK JUBILEES AT MASS TODAY--Solemn silver jubilee masses will be intoned today by two Roman Catholic priests serving north area parishes. They are the Rev. Edward Liebrich, pastor of St. Joseph church, Round Lake, and the Rev. Aloysius Komosa, St. Josaphat church, 2311 Southport.
Both were members of the same class in theological studies at St. Mary of the Lake seminary, Mundelein, and were ordained April 11, 1931, by the late Cardinal Mundelein. Father Liebrich will offer his mass of thanksgiving at non with the Rev. John J. O'Mara as deacon and the Rev. John Boyd as subdeacon. The Rev. Bernard McMahon will give the sermon.
A native Chicagoan, Father Liebrich attended St. Sabina Elementary school, 1210 W. 78th Pl., and Quigley Preparatory seminary. He said his first mass in St. Sabina church. He served as assistant priest at St. Mel's church, 22 N. Kildare Av., at Sacred Heart, Hubbard Woods, and at Little Flower church 82d and Wood sts...."--15 Apr 1956, Chicago (IL) Tribune

He was the husband of Helen E. (Spencer) Liebrich. Born in Providence, the son of the late William C. Liebrich, Sr. and Edith P. (Moore) Liebrich he had lived in Warwick for 50 years. Mr. Liebrich was a toolmaker at Lee's Mfg. Co., North Smithfield, for more than 20 years, retiring in 1993. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of William Shields Jr. American Legion Post 43. He had been a manager with the Warwick National Little League for several years. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Judith A. Lopez, Joan H. Bradley and Patti S. Webb, and a son, William A. Liebrich, all of Warwick, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral was held in Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
