"August Liebrich Taken by Death--August Liebrich, age 78, 1014 Greenwood avenue, died Thursday evening, 9:30 o'clock, at a Cincinnati hospital, following a two weeks' illness.
Born in Baden, Germany, Mr. Liebrich came to this country in his youth and spent the greater part of his life in Hamilton. For the past 15 years he was retired. He was a lifelong member of St. Stephen's church and was a member of the parish societies.
Two sisters, Misses Amanda and Caroline Liebrich, survive their brother.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Edgar K. Wagner funeral home, 228 Heaton street and at 10 o'clock with requiem high mass at St. Stephen's church. Interment, St. Stephen's cemetery. Friends may call after 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon."--10 Jul 1936, The (Hamilton, OH) Journal News

"Rites Held for Leebrick, Air Warrior, Civic Leader--Funeral service was in Lakewood Friday for Richard W. Leebrick, air hero of two wars and civic leader. Leebrick, 49, of 3151 Armourdale Ave., died Wednesday after a brief illness.
A veteran of World War II, he flew 50 missions over the "hump" in the China-Burma-India theater. He was awarded the Air Medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster after returning later from more than 100 combat missions in the Korean conflict. Leebrick participated in his third war recently, flying a cargo mission to Vietnam with the Air National Guard.
In 1956, Leebrick was chairman of the Long Beach Municipal Airport Advisory Committee. He was a member of Elks Lodge 888.

"Leebrick-Griffin - LYNCHBURG--The marriage of Miss Arie Anne Griffin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Griffin of Reidsville, N.C., to Bland Allen Leebrick, of Elon College, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Leebrick, of Lynchburg, took place Christmas Day in New Lebanon Christian Church. The Rev. Walstein W. Snyder, of Burlington, and the Rev. Clyde Fields, of Reidsville, officiated.
The bride was attended by her sisters, Mrs. W. Aubrey Law , of Pearlsburg, as matron of honor and Miss Ethalinda Griffin, of Reidsville, and Miss Virginia Lee Griffin, of State Teachers College, Boone, N.C., and Mrs. A.H.Ellison, or Winston-Salem, NC." 10 Jan 1949 Richmond (VA) Times Dispatch.
